Thank you for visiting my website! My name is Kathryn C. Lebel Owner and Licensed Massage Therapist at Higher Vibration Massage and Wellness. I'm a graduate of Massage Therapy school from Seacoast Career Schools in Sanford, ME, I reached the end of the program in 2011. I'm licensed in Maine Nationally board certified with 13 years experience in the massage therapy realm. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working in various venues in the massage therapy industry. I started out working in a salon in Shapleigh Maine, then moved to an active family based chiropractic office working on a wide range of muscular dysfunctions for pain management working closely with the chiropractic provider. I also worked at a four star spa and resort providing excellent customer care, massage and body treatments. That's where I learned to hone my skills as a therapist. I enjoyed the diversity of the different treatments creating a unique experience for each individual person that came through the door by adjusting to their needs. I continue my education and learning bringing you all I have to offer as a massage therapist.
Sheila Maleckas, LMT, Reiki II Practitioner
Sheila has a deep passion for her work in massage therapy and it shines through when working with her clients. She is licensed in Maine, Massachusetts, and Connecticut as well as nationally/board-certified. Sheila had a successful pratice in Western Massachusetts before moving to Maine. She has gained experience working in high end spas and is well versed in body treatments.
Sheila has been practicing massage for over two decades. She graduated from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester MA in 2001. She has also taken courses and received certifications in pregnancy massage, neuromuscular therapy, neuromuscular tension in chronic pain, myofascial release, spa stone and thai stone massage, thai reflexology, and Reiki I and Reiki II.
Sheila's mission is to provide her clients with the very best therapeutic experience to support each individual in their own unique healing process. Her goal is to provide a positive experience and to create a safe space for her clients to unwind mentally, emotionally and physically. Sheila provides clients and everyone who passes through the door with respect, kindness and dignity.
Sheila's work is a unique fusion of therapies that incorporates swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, trigger point therapy, hot stones, aromatherapy, neuromuscular therapy and other massage modalities. These allow restrictions in the tissue and fascia of the body to release and unwind. Her work is both awakening and relaxing. It improves flexibility, range of motion, and helps decrease pain and tension in the body.
